小池英文1964年東京都生まれ
都立高校を一年間休学し米・カリフォルニア州に渡る。現地公立高校を卒業後、アメリカ全土を旅する。大学卒業後は海外取材を繰り返し、写真と記事を多くの新聞や雑誌に発表。近年は国内にも目を向け、2017年に写真集「瀬戸内家族」(冬青社)を刊行。同作で林忠彦賞最終候補にノミネートされる。また同名のフォトエッセイを産経新聞に連載中。他には、写真集「THE DELTA / Ganga Sagar Island1999-2024」(PRASADA BOOK)が、2025年度土門拳賞最終候補にノミネートされている。

HIDEFUMI KOIKE
Born in Tokyo in 1964. After taking a one-year leave from a Tokyo metropolitan high school, he traveled to California, USA, where he graduated from a local public high school. He then traveled extensively across the United States. After graduating from university, he repeatedly conducted overseas reporting, publishing photographs and articles in newspapers and magazines. In recent years, he has also turned his focus to Japan. In 2017, he published the photo book「Setouchi Kazoku / The Family Of Seto Inland Sea(Toseisha)」, which centers on scenes from visits to Innoshima, Hiroshima—his wife’s hometown. The book was nominated as a finalist for the Tadahiko Hayashi Award. Another photo book, 「THE DELTA Ganga Sagar Island 1999-2024 (Prasada Book)」, has been nominated as a finalist for the 2025 Domon Ken Award.
